Riffyn has been selected as the digital backbone for the $87M Department of Defense-sponsored Bioindustrial Manufacturing And Design Ecosystem (BioMADE). The newly funded Bioindustrial Manufacturing Innovation Institute (MII) is the 9th DoD-sponsored MII.

To be headquartered at the University of Minnesota, BioMADE is a nonprofit created by the Engineering Biology Research Consortium (EBRC). It aims to establish a long-term and dependable platform to accelerate the commercialization of biotechnology inventions from American R&D in universities, start-ups, and National Labs.

Riffyn will help build the digital backbone for this national network of more than 90 companies, universities, and organizations across 31 states.
