Responsibilities

  • Work closely with program and product managers and based on the company roadmap commitments, evolve our Riffyn Nexus platform by delivering new features and improving platform scalability.
  • Manage a team of software engineers, support their growth, provide constructive feedback, and grow their technical skills.
  • Work with the Quality team to develop and implement efficient SDLC processes, ensuring the engineering team is operating with high velocity, ownership, and accountability while following best practices.
  • Communicate challenges, recommendations, and actions, to a broad set of stakeholders.
  • Foster long-term thinking and innovation in a complex space to ensure Riffyn Nexus can scale rapidly to meet growing demand.
  • Validate architecture, technical plans, and roadmaps with key stakeholders.

Your background and skills

  • 2+ years of experience managing a software development team (Minimum of 8 developers).
  • 8+ years relevant software development and systems architecture experience.
  • Extensive experience with data-intensive web application development, including JavaScript frameworks, REST/GraphQL APIs, and NoSQL databases.
  • Significant experience with AWS or other cloud providers.
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-directed, analytical, and comfortable working in a team environment.
  • B.S. or higher in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

Apply

If you thrive in a fast-paced, down-to-earth, collaborative, and mission-driven environment, Riffyn is the place for you. Join the journey of a lifetime and be at the forefront of the next revolution of scientific discovery.
