Eric Kolaczyk

Eric is a Professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Boston University, and a faculty member in the Program in Bioinformatics, the Program in Computational Neuroscience, and the Division of Systems Engineering. His research focuses on the application of network-indexed data statistics to diverse fields including bioinformatics, neuroscience, and sociology.   Eric authored a book on the subject - Statistical Analysis of Network Data: Methods and Models, and has consulted for the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Statistical and Applied Mathematical Sciences Institute (SAMSI). He is a fellow of the American Statistical Association (ASA), an elected senior member of the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and an elected member of the International Statistical Institute (ISI).
