Derek Gregg does business development for Riffyn and is pursuing an MBA at the Carnegie Mellon University Tepper School of Business where he is a James R. Swartz Entrepreneurial Fellow. As an experienced life sciences entrepreneur Derek is familiar with the problems faced by researchers and process developers in designing and measuring experiments and integrating data for analysis, and uses that experience to help our customers get the most from Riffyn's software. Prior to business school he founded and led Vandalia Research, a DNA production company, for 10 years. Vandalia Research was acquired in 2015 by Applied DNA Sciences. He also founded Crosscutting Concepts, a science education company that sells forensics and STEM educational materials. He holds a B.S. in Integrated Science & Technology from Marshall University.
